This is pretty awesome and it's always good to commiserate and learn! Would love to to see more diverse voices and stories. My friends and I have *very* different dating experiences based on our backgrounds.

Hey guys, curious - any metrics on how long it takes for the average good to be sold, or how long the average buyer has to sift before finding something they want?

This is hilariously comprehensive: Serpent Society Caduceus Cult Tannin's Horde also show up (as replacements for, "Generation Y", "Generation We", "Generation 9/11", etc).

This looks super interesting! Nice work! How do you see yourself taking the app forward? General "personal business intelligence", more calendaring/scheduling (ala YouCanBookMe/Sunrise), or something else entirely?

@harjeet, I absolutely love what you're doing with a common YC app, and the spirit of the hiring manifesto. I love the idea of making sure engineers are matched well based on ability and not just a few keywords on a resume. I'm really curious about your approach to making sure the candidate experience is really top-notch since it's still your platform, and how deep you plan on working with...

I've found these kinds of tools really useful while running http://OfferLetter.io and coming up with a responsive content marketing strategy. If you liked this, you should definitely check out http://notify.ly/ - it works across social media sites and gives you push notifications on a Slack room you specify. It's been wonderful for staying on top of the dialogue!

The app looks pretty! Some feedback on the landing page: 1) "The app lets you Trigger multiple topic-based DMs making conversations more elegant." -- I have absolutely no idea what this means. You're introducing me to a new verb, then saying what it does in a clunky way. I also have no idea why it references Reddit - Reddit doesn't work over push, and DMs are not what come to mind when I use...

This looks like a great idea! A casual lunch seems like a great way to get know people initially. I'd love to chat on behalf of http://OfferLetter.io and see if there's any way we can help out, or if there's some way we could help people coming to us for advice, find your service - let me know! mallyvai at offerletter.io (we provide negotiation and career advice for peeps looking for new jobs :-)

This is a great little tool! One major point of improvement I'd love is to be able to 'mute' certain keywords for certain channels, or just have more granularity in the monitoring mechanism. For OfferLetter.io , for example, I want to track "negotiation" on Hacker News and ProductHunt, but not on Twitter. Aside from that, really like it!

Tossed this another upvote. This is quite cool and useful! I encourage jobhunters to use this as well - pay 99$ for the month(s) you're negotiating, then cancel when you no longer need it. It's a great investment. Some caveats: 1) The UI has some bugs 2) Equity data isn't helpful at all, and is outright wrong in some contexts. Only way to fix this is garner more data from the VCs themselves....

Super interesting! What differentiates this from the glut of other recruiting / hiring sites like Hired.com, WhiteTruffle, etc?

This looks great! IIRC there was already the recurring monthly donation - is this a more focused rebranding, or is there more going on in terms of ops, reach etc?

This is a really interesting engagement hack! Two questions: > How would this work for consumers using other clients (TweetDeck et al)? Is the image experience on the others the same? > Do you expect tweeting with Spruce to have any potential accessibility implications?
