ENFOCA T — Focus tracker for Windows

About

Have you ever opened your computer to do one thing, then 20 minutes later realized you had switched between emails, browser tabs, chats and documents—and couldn't even remember how you got there? Enfoca T reconstructs that path. It doesn't judge you or try to increase productivity. It simply helps you understand how your attention changed over time, so you can recover context and continue where you actually left off. Think of it as a "memory timeline" for your attention rather than a productivity tracker.

I've been thinking about something that doesn't get discussed enough.

Most conversations about productivity focus on avoiding distractions.

But I think the real cost isn't the distraction itself.

It's losing the mental context of what you were building before the interruption.

Every notification forces your brain to reconstruct that context, and I wonder if that's where most of the productivity loss actually happens.

A few days ago, I noticed something interesting.

It s not that social media makes us incapable of concentrating. The problem is more subtle: it trains our brains to constantly switch contexts. A 20-second video.
A notification.
A message.
A comment.
Another tab.
Another topic. And just like that dozens or even hundreds of micro-transitions a day. The cost isn't the time we lose consuming content. The real cost is forgetting what we were doing before we got distracted. I often return to my desk and ask myself: "What was I trying to solve?" "Why did I open this window?" "What was my goal ten minutes ago?" That s why I started developing EnfocaT. Not to block social media or tell people what to do. The idea is simpler: to help us pick up the thread of our work when we lose it. To log context, recall goals, and make it easier to return to the point where our attention wandered. Because perhaps the modern challenge isn't avoiding distractions. Perhaps the challenge is learning how to come back. Does it ever happen to you that, after an interruption, it takes several minutes to remember exactly what you were doing?
