Do you find product forums on PH useful to interact with people who followed your product?

I've been wondering is there a way to interact with people who followed your product on PH, and just noticed that every product has its own forum now. What are your experiences with this feature? Do you find it useful to remind people about your product? Did you get more active users that way?

How many customers do you get from ChatGPT ?

Over the last few months more and more companies have shared that ChatGPT has become one of their top acquisition channel

Some examples:

Guillermo Rauch, CEO of Vercel, explained that they went from getting 1% to 10% of their sign-ups coming from ChatGPT within 6 months

Marie Martens, Co-founder of Tally, said that they scaled from 2 to $3M ARR in the span of 4 months thank to a major influx of customers coming from ChatGPT & Perplexity

Post your product - I’ll help you get recommended by AI for free

Hey, I've been building Doppler, the search console for AI platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity.

As the title says if you post your product I'll run it through my tool and give you an analysis of how it performs on both ChatGPT & Perplexity as well as some tips to improve your visibility from AI engines so you can get more traffic from it!

AI search is particularly efficient for B2B SMBs / B2C as AI apps will give tailored product recommendations based on the user's context, that's why it's worth optimizing for.

Do you still believe in SEO?

Hi there! I've been working in content marketing & SEO for almost a decade - and while I've seen many announcements of the death of SEO, the current search climate, combined with the latest announcements from Google are strong signals that SEO may (finally ) be over.

What do you think? Is "answer engine optimization" the answer?

Where is ChatGPT's limit? How can it create a unique barrier when developing native AI applications?

If the unique feature of native AI applications is just "using AI interfaces", do they still matter?

Makers/marketers, would you rather travel in cars, trains or planes ?

Even if i like driving cars so much, i think that trains are still the best option, here is why: eco-friendly wifi, useful if you want to spend some time working meeting new people sightseeing, from the windows you can enjoy mother nature less expensive, not all the time but most of time

We redesigned Product Hubs, would love your thoughts.

Hey all, we just released a few updates to product hubs with a focus on converting visitors to your website/apps/social, and providing the right information to community members who are researching new products. As an example, here's Notion's product hub: https://www.producthunt.com/prod... (you can access your product hubs in the new sidebar on the homepage) The header was re-focused on driving conversions, followers, and saves. We ve removed upvote counts and focused on reviews + followers on the hub pages; while upvotes are important for launch day, we ve found that they re not necessarily a highly correlated signal for overall product quality, especially for community members researching products months (or years) after a launch. The updated sidebar displays links, product info, and makers more prominently, and the rest of the page has been simplified with an additional focus on reviews (currently sorted by recent, so make sure you re encouraging your community to leave reviews). As always, Product Hunt is in a constant state of change, so let us know what you think about these changes and if you have any suggestions or recommendations moving forward!
