Worked in the music industry for 30 yrs, starting out in the creative area of A&R. I joined Virgin Records in 1990 where I signed my first artist The Verve, who went on to be a multi platinum selling global act. I joined Parlophone Records in 1995. Starting out as A&R Manager and later becoming Head of A&R in 1998. In 2003 I became MD of Parlophone and in 2008 to 2018 I took the role as Chairman. During this period I have also been both President of Virgin Records as well as Chairman of Warner Bros alongside my continued role as Chairman of Parlophone Records.
