Tried using but it made all the font on the screen tiny. I didn't change any settings or configure it, just using it out of the box...

This is by far one of the best platforms for developers in the last few years. I would even go so far as to contend that it stands squarely shoulder to shoulder with DEV Community and CodersRank. The only difference is that daily.dev has a more targeted niche specifically focusing on discovering and delivering top-quality news articles and tutorials from across the dev space.

Has a clean UI with a streamlined feeling similar to a skeleton of VS Code. Although I'll probably still use Gists, I do like the syntax highlighting.
