Co-founder building crypto tooling

About

Tech enthusiast with a love for finding and solving abstract technical problems. I have amassed 16 years experience in practicing dynamic responsive cybersecurity across a range of verticals from industry dominating SaaS providers to governments institutions in western Europe and North America. In seeking my next challenge I have turned my attention to web3. I have a thesis that there is user experience gap and a data accessibility gap that I am well positioned to reduce. I will be leveraging my knowledge of security, privacy and compliance to build and release products with the sole aim of making access to and participation in web3 platforms easier and more exciting for the average online consumer.

Cyber to Web3

Hi all, introducing myself as the technical co-founder of a web3 SaaS venture. I have 16 years experience in enterprise product and application security under my belt and mainly plyed my trade in the UK and Canada.
While looking for a new technical challenge I got lost in the alternative tech stack that is distributed ledger technologies and never looked back. I am now working on what I believe is the next generation of tooling that will be needed as the stablecoin fuelled payments revolution gathers pace and I am open to all advice and connections.
If you are anyone that has had similar journey rotating out of one specialist area into web3 I would love to pick your brain about what that experience was like for you and how you managed establish yourself/product/business?

What are the 5 tools you simply couldn't do your work without?

This could be related to your industry, or even a side project you're working on.

Here are my 5 (I couldn't function without them):

  1. Grammarly proofreading my texts, not just posts, but also client communication

  2. ChatGPT / Claude mostly brainstorming, help with copy, and summarising

  3. Figma I can put the basic graphics together quickly.

  4. Translator sounds incredibly old-school, but English is not my mother tongue

  5. Gmail and not only for communication, but also for storing ideas and sending myself email reminders for posts
