Fun story, I poked at building an A/B test framework for product taglines last year. The biggest frustration was getting any sort of power given the expected base rates; basically any worthwhile test would have required thousands of observations. tbh I didn't even consider using broad ad placements to hit the sample size. That's a solid L on my part 🤣

A major challenge I have with my calendar is managing short (<1h) non-urgent tasks, both personal and professional. Stuff like "submit my travel expenses" or "replace that squeaky door hinge". Without a clear due date, they tend to build up in a backlog and never get prioritized. This feels surprisingly close to solving that problem as well

| Bonus: Feel free to ask a burnout-related question in the comments and we'll get you a research-based answer! I've always worked on (and managed) smaller teams, usually two to four ICs. With only a few people, it isn't hard to match the feedback to the author. This often ends means that the less-confident voices — particularly H1-B holders, women, and new hires — self-censor and we only get...

Having been on every side of pitch and funding decks, my genuine advice is to materialize the message you want to communicate and then find somebody super-skilled to work with on the deck itself. It'll depend on a lot of factors, but even at the $100-250 price point, there are a lot of talented folks who can help you build a deck that ends up saving you a ton of stress during funding.
Do you have any top tips for when it comes to building a pitch deck

I ended up checking out Sigma after one of the implementation engineers at Snowflake mentioned the platform. I worked in finance as a dashboard gopher early in my career, and jfc this would have been a godsend at the time. Honestly, for my decade-plus career I've been trying everything to encourage dashboard adoption and somehow hadn't thought of "giving them a spreadsheet to feel at home". As...
