How do you guys promote niche open-source stuff?

Obviously spending money on advertising is mostly out of the question (at least for me), so I'm struggling to find ways to show real potential users my product.

Except for all the standard stuff (generic subreddits, Discord servers, sites like this one, nice Github page, etc), what has been successful for you?
