How has AI actually helped (or not helped) your startup journey?

Hey folks

We re living in the golden age of AI tools from idea generation to design, marketing, customer support, dev workflows, and even fundraising decks.

But I m super curious... how are YOU actually using AI in your business?

What s genuinely worked for you?

What's the one AI feature you wish existed but doesn't yet?

Hey everyone!

As AI tools are proliferating everywhere, I'm curious about what one AI capability you wish existed but haven't found yet?

For me, it's an AI that can truly understand context across multiple apps and help me automate workflows without breaking when I make a small change.
What about you? What AI gap are you hoping someone will fill in 2025?

Not your typical maker — and this isn’t your typical project either.

Hi everyone, I m Jesse and I m probably not your typical maker.

I m a professor at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences who became deeply fascinated by the rapid rise of AI and the explosion of tools over the past couple of years. With thousands of new tools emerging every month, it became hard to get a clear grasp of the fast-evolving landscape, especially with so much hype and noise.

What tools do you use to analyze SaaS user behavior? Here’s what worked for me...

When you're building a SaaS platform, understanding user behavior isn t optional, it's essential for growth.

Two tools I highly recommend (and personally use across multiple SaaS products) are:

What makes an AI tool truly stick?

With new AI tools launching every day, it s easy to feel overwhelmed.

But let s face it only a handful become part of our actual routine.

For me, it s the quiet ones. The tools that don t demand attention but just work.

What makes an AI interface feel “trustworthy” to you?

Some tools just feel more reliable even if the backend models are similar. Is it the tone, layout, citations, or transparency of the process? What gives you confidence to act on what AI says?

Do you trust AI more than humans?

I noticed an interesting pattern in my surroundings:

  1. People are very sensitive about their data (GDPR, etc.)

  2. But the same people are willing to share their health, partner problems, intimate relationships, etc., with LLM.

Chat GPT becomes a therapist.

Is there a product that has everything for job seekers?

Like customized AI job searching, AI mock interviews, experience sharing, Gmail and calendar tracking. For me, I need to go indeed to find jobs, use simplify to apply it, interview with ChatGPT to practice, find the real interview questions on Reddit. And manage the job applications by myself to check the email everyday, and the amount of job I applied already hit 400 this month. I m tired.

Tools That Punch Above Their Weight đź’Ž Which One You Use?

We all know the big names, but what about those quiet workhorses that actually move the needle?

I'll start: ZimmWriter has been my secret weapon for content creation. Not flashy, not trending, but it just works when I need it to.
