I'm the founder of Amanah Budget, a personal finance app for Muslims. I built it to answer a question I kept asking myself: how do I manage my money in a way that's true to my faith? Amanah Budget calculates zakat across 26 asset types, using a methodology overseen by Azka Advisors. It screens investments for Shariah compliance using AAOIFI standards, and helps you budget around your values, from Sadaqah to Ramadan planning to saving for Hajj. By day I'm an enterprise architect, designing how large business systems work together. That shapes how I build: get the requirements right, keep it simple, and ship something people actually use. Assalamu alaikum, and thanks for checking out Amanah Budget.

I built this because every budgeting app I tried treated my faith as an afterthought. Zakat was a once-a-year spreadsheet scramble, interest hid in the noise, and nothing understood saving for Hajj or Ramadan. So we built the money app I wished existed.
