What's one lesson that completely changed how you build products?

As I work on my next product, I've realized that many assumptions I had when I started building no longer hold up.

For example, I used to think shipping more features would make a product more valuable. Now I'm questioning whether solving one painful problem exceptionally well is usually the better approach.

Why do so many people unknowingly share hidden metadata?

While building Blindfold, I was surprised by how much information files can contain by default.

Photos can include GPS coordinates and camera details.
PDFs and Office documents often contain author names, software versions, and editing history.
AI-generated images may include C2PA or generation metadata.

That's what motivated me to build a tool that removes metadata entirely in the browser no uploads required.
