I have an Earth Science background, and getting into tech was NOT easy. I knew no one in the industry. I ended up sending over 500+ applications, writing a cover letter for each. That got me four interviews total. I didn't even know what the word "agile" or "server" meant. 😅 Ultimately though, through sheer will and luck, I ended up making my way into Product Management at Zynga, and then went...

I get that it saves a lot of time for companies (instead of needing to go to every single school to source themselves), but it ALSO saves so much time for students. No more needing to go from one site to another to constantly input the same information. 😅

Still trying to get my co-founder in personal therapy actually HAHA, though this would be a start. We're just doing monthly retros for now. I definitely think that being friends first and having worked together on projects in the past helps!
