Looks like an interesting riff on Microvision's laser pico projector and the Skinput HCI research project. Also it would likely require quantum leaps in MEMS optics, LED lasers, battery power density, and years of research improving the sensing pipeline. And a boatload more money than $1.25M. Maybe in 20 years?

This project is awesome for "watch it later" or just when you're on flaky wifi and don't want to get stuck buffering every three seconds. Use 'pip install youtube-dl' if you're already set up for Python development — and you can use it in your own code just as easily, although features like batch downloading are already accessible through the CLI.

This is awesome. Also, scroll down. They used one of those "full page banner" designs that makes it non-obvious that they have more content on the page, and some of it is e.g. links to good accounts to test it on (high troll scores). Note that there is a very small limit on anonymous checks, after which they want read and write access to your Twitter account.
