PM @ Carrots | Building AI apps ๐Ÿš€

About

Hey, Iโ€™m Giulia ๐Ÿ‘‹ PM/PO at Carrots. I spend most of my time building AI apps for iOS: from cleaning & optimizing your phone, scanning docs, and turning photos into art, to Savvi, your AI chat companion for anything you throw at it. I care a lot about making apps people actually love using (while still keeping an eye on the โ€œfunโ€ stuff like ROAS, retention, and LTV ๐Ÿ“ˆ). Right now Iโ€™m working on Savvi, Gala AI, Home AI, ScanNow, and Cleanie. Always chasing that balance between โ€œwow, this feels magical โœจโ€ and โ€œyep, this actually grows the business.โ€ When Iโ€™m not shipping features, youโ€™ll probably find me playing beach volleyball, diving into new hobbies, traveling, hunting for adrenaline-packed adventuresโ€ฆ or just complaining about iPhone photo storage (seriously ๐Ÿ˜‚).

Lifetime plan vs. subscription model? Sustainability issue

More and more companies are using a subscription model instead of a one-time payment for a product.

Duolingo, CapCut and the like are examples of subscription models (monthly or annual), while DaVinci Resolve, for example, has a lifetime license.

Do you think Grokipedia has a real chance to succeed and surpass Wikipedia?

Elon Musk was extremely frustrated that Wikipedia couldn t be manipulated, and he even offered $1 billion if they renamed it to d*ckipedia.

Since that didn t work out, he s now trying to build his own platform for gathering information claiming that Wikipedia is hopelessly biased, and that left-leaning editors influence its content.
