service company founder turned SaaS builder

Hello PH!! I'm Eric. I co-founded and run a content syndication agency with my two sons, and we serve B2B demand generation, growth, revenue, and field marketers and help them lead with content when generating demand. We've found some seriously eye-opening correlations between properly structured and distributed content and AI SEO optimization. We're building the first of its kind solution to help marketers easily capitalize on this shift. I really like this community so far; people are helpful and offer valuable insights. Looking forward to launching soon!

Marketing Leader of 20+ years - AMA

Morning everyone - marketing leader with 2 decades of experience in multiple countries, regions and industries (a big focus on startups and B2B though). Worked as a consultant for IBM, marketed 3 companies during IPO and grown many brands' sales and marketing with low cost strategies.

Will Perplexity "overshadow" OpenAI?

I read in TechCrunch today that Perplexity is trying to dominate the Indian market, which could potentially increase the number of users (and thus compete with OpenAI).

Perplexity is trying to attract more users by offering a free 12-month Perplexity Pro subscription normally worth $200 to all 360 million Airtel subscribers. (That is the cost for them.)

Pivoting from a failed startup to an AI tool for creators. Need your best community-building tips!

Hey PH community, I'm in the middle of a journey that's both terrifying and exhilarating, and I could really use the wisdom of this group. For the past few years, my team and I were building an AI platform for vocational schools. The tech was solid, but the business model was a slow death endless sales cycles and zero direct feedback from the actual users (the teachers). Our cash was running out. Instead of giving up, we decided to pivot and build something for a group of people we're truly passionate about: knowledge creators. Our new mission is to solve one of the most painful problems: turning deep knowledge into high-quality, engaging videos. We're building an AI agent platform (called X-Pilot) that acts as your personal production team. Now, we're about a month away from launching here on Product Hunt. My biggest challenge is building an initial community of early adopters who can give us feedback and help us build this right. For all the founders and community builders here, what's your #1 piece of advice for building a genuine, engaged pre-launch community from scratch? What worked for you, and what should I absolutely avoid? Thanks for any insights you can share.
