Software engineer and founder based in Amsterdam. I build at the intersection of AI, embedded systems, and mobile - from autonomous robots winning medals at RoboCup to production NLP platforms on Kubernetes. At NIKX Technologies, I built Sentor (NLP and sentiment analysis), TERRA (smart agriculture IoT across Dutch farms), Flowmetry (industrial gas leak detection), and Relayly (open-source encrypted WebSocket relay in Go). I care about building things that work in the real world, not just demos. The constraint of reality is what makes engineering interesting. Currently exploring agentic AI systems and how to make them reliable enough to actually trust.
