Yes! Google search is trash and has been for years. I’d genuinely rather take my chances asking Claude or ChatGPT than use Google. I hate the sloppy AI, the ads, and the generally shitty results. I miss the good old days when search engines used to actually find things.

I’ve been thinking about the same thing and decided to set up my own website independent from any platform. Just a simple blog with RSS so people can subscribe and get updates without having to give away their contact details.
