What pros and cons have you noticed in modern online website builders?
I've used a lot of them. Somewhere I like the great community support and flexibility like webflow, but the cons is it's too much time to create smth simple and not super easy to use.

Personally, I have a huge experience with dozen of platforms like Gumroad, Sellfy, Podia, Lemonsqueezy etc. But they don't suit me, on the one hand they have weak customization, on the other hand high commissions compared to Stripe.

I prefer go in the bootstrap way but I think it becomes one time where I'll get the investment. It all depends on what you want at the moment. Bootstrapping gives you more freedom in the moment, but you move slower. Investments help you grow, but they don't always help you do what you want.
