Boilerbay unfortunately doesn’t meet the level of maturity that templates like this should provide (especially paid ones). eg limited configurability, and limited error handling. So if you want to use this you’d be doing a lot more work to get it production ready, which defeats the purpose. I’ve reviewed other similar products like Bedrock which are much more mature examples. I also requested a refund from the team as I didn’t find it usable currently, and they have ignored me to date (over a month now) via email and twitter. It’s a shame given their FAQs mention they consider refunds.

Reflect is a breath of fresh air in the note-taking space, with an elegant and simple solution to a tricky problem: networked notes. I've used various note-taking apps over the years, with some in parallel - Reflect has allowed me to consolidate those and take my note-taking to the next level, or even note-take how I've wanted to due to its flexibility. The team are also on top of current trends (but certainly not chasing them) to keep Reflect feeling fresh and modern.
