I'm Tulon — an indie developer building iOS and macOS apps that solve problems I actually run into myself. I tend to gravitate toward small, focused utilities that do one thing well and stay out of your way. I develop with Claude Code (Anthropic's AI coding tool), which lets me move from idea to shipped product much faster than I could alone. I'm interested in what that unlocks for a solo developer — tools that would have taken months now take a weekend. My goal is to build a portfolio of apps that are genuinely useful without asking much in return. If you have a problem you've always wished an app solved, I'd love to hear it — that's exactly how the next one gets started.

How do you decide what your AI agent is NOT allowed to do?

most of the conversation around AI agents is about what they can do. faster, smarter, more autonomous. but i've been thinking about the other side of that question.

when you're building with agents, at some point you have to draw a line. this agent can read but not write. it can suggest but not send. it can book but not pay. somewhere, someone made that call.

When is the right time to launch on Product Hunt?

Because building products has become much more accessible thanks to AI, the bar has had to rise a bit, or at least the expectations have become stricter.

I built my own tool SafeLimit, but personally, I wouldn t launch it on Product Hunt yet because it s still very basic and doesn t even have a website.
