Building DEED — contracts for AI agents

About

I build infrastructure for AI pipelines and wrap it in products that solve real problems. The runtime is called deed-edge — open source, zero dependencies, structured multi-stage workflows with pre/post contracts on every state transition. LexScan is the first thing I built on top of it: paste any contract, get a legal memo with red flags and what to do about them. I'm shipping in public to figure out which vertical actually has the sharpest pain — legal, fintech, or healthtech. PH is part of that signal-gathering. Always happy to talk AI pipelines, legaltech, or why most "AI wrappers" fail at the schema layer.

Launched something today that I've been quietly scared to ship

LexScan paste a contract, get a legal memo with red flags and what to do about them.

The fear: lawyers will hate it. The reality so far: some do, some think it fills a real gap for people who can't afford a consult for every document they sign.

Built it as a solo developer. No legal background. $9 for 50 analyses, no subscription.

One thing I genuinely don't know yet: which type of contract it's most useful for. Leases? Freelance agreements? Employment offers? SaaS terms?

LexScan — launching next week. Would love early feedback

Building in public and wanted to share what I m shipping.

LexScan lets you paste any contract or just describe your situation in plain English and get a structured legal memo back: red flags, severity scores, what to negotiate, what to walk away from.

The use case is the gap between I can t afford a lawyer for this and I have no idea what I just signed. A lease, a freelance agreement, a SaaS subscription with a 90-day cancellation trap buried on page 4.

5 free analyses, then $9 for 50. No subscription. Credits never expire.
