What's great

Tested the Pro version ($99/month, $45 first month) with a real e-commerce site.
Not worth the price.

Features tested:

Reddit Opportunities: Interesting concept for finding backlink opportunities. Only found 2 irrelevant threads though.

SEO Articles: First article was okay, but no way to request edits or add training data. Context must be re-entered every time. Generation takes several minutes. Quality dropped significantly on articles 2 and 3 (nearly duplicate content).

Competitor Analysis: Identified 8 of 20+ competitors. No tools to actually work with this data. Asked the "AI CMO" for a content gap analysis, it hallucinated gaps that don't exist.

Social Media Posts: Generic AI content with no real value.

What needs improvement

Technical issues:

- Buttons sometimes unresponsive (console errors)

- Chat crashed twice, conversation history partially lost

Support:

After canceling, the founder reached out asking for feedback. I replied with detailed notes, never heard back. Disappointing.

vs Alternatives

Okara appears to be an Anthropic wrapper using an outdated model. You'll get better results with Claude Pro ($20/month) where you can set up a project with custom instructions and training docs.
