About

Hey everyone 👋 I’m Dan, a programmer passionate about building tools that simplify the web. I’ve been working on BlogBowl for the past 1.5 years, starting from an open-source blogging engine and slowly evolving it into a full AI-powered SEO platform. My goal has always been simple - make it effortless for anyone to create, manage, and grow a blog that actually ranks. Before BlogBowl, I built a few projects that never took off because setting up a proper blog was always too much work. That pain became the motivation to build something better - fast, clean, and open by design.

From Open-Source Blog Platform to Full-Stack AI SEO Agent: The Story Behind RankSpot

Hi there
Two years ago, I had a pretty simple idea.

Founders and creators needed a better way to manage their content - blog posts, newsletters, changelogs, all in one place. So I started building BlogBowl: a clean, hosted platform where you could manage everything under one roof without stitching together five different tools.

It felt like the right problem to solve. And for a while, it was.

BlogBowl’s Biggest Milestone Yet - #1 on Product Hunt 🎉 A Huge Thank You ❤

Hey there,

Dan here - Founder of BlogBowl

I had so much going on after launch, that I only found time to write a post and thank everyone!

Why I believe our launch deserves to be featured 🚀

Hey everyone

After 1.5 years of building (and rebuilding), I m finally launching today - and I wanted to share why I believe our product truly deserves to be featured here on Product Hunt.

Not as a pitch - but as a story from someone who built it to solve his own problem
