Honestly, I get what you're going for with capturing thoughts quickly but isn't this basically like Simplenote or even the note function on Evernote, they do the same thing and have been around for ages, I'm wondering if you could add maybe different formats for note-taking, like images or checklists, might add some real value, also would be great to have a way to organize notes better, Tabs or...
