I m at the stage where building the product feels easier than getting the first real users.

Not traffic. Not friends signing up. I mean people who genuinely try the product, come back, and tell you what s useful or broken.

I keep hearing the usual answers - Product Hunt, Reddit, X, communities, cold outreach - but I m more interested in what actually worked when you had no audience yet.

Did your first users come from one channel, or was it mostly manual conversations one by one?

A lot of people say they want to automate their trading, but they are sick of indicators. No more RSI to squint at, no more moving-average crossover to argue with at 2am. I spent the last eight months building and running a grid bot for exactly that itch, with small money on purpose, and I want to test what I learned here.

When someone says "no indicators," I think what they actually want is for the thing to predict nothing. An indicator is a guess about where price goes next.

I've been building with AI for a while now, and I've noticed something: the projects that work best aren't the ones where I let AI do the most. They're the ones where I've done the hard thinking first.

Here's what I mean. Last week I was mapping out a feature set, and I realized I'd spent two hours prompting Claude to help me decide what to build. It was... fine. But it felt hollow. When I stepped back, predefined exactly what problem we were solving and what constraints mattered, then asked AI to help execute against that? Completely different quality.
