It Broke

So WebVisor went down about two weeks ago. If your site had more than 5,000 events, chances are the app didn t work properly. Timeouts. Broken charts. Data just missing.

That s on me.

I honestly wasn t expecting so many users to sign up so quickly, and I definitely didn t expect sites to be logging that much data right out the gate.

Within the first two weeks, we tracked over 1.5 million events. Which is amazing - but it also completely broke the system.

Segmentations! - New Feature Alert

We just dropped a new segmentations view into WebVisor. - See your data curated per metric and analyse your data in segments to make actionable changes!
Thank you for the awesome feedback on this, and I hope this improves the system!

I dropped some documentation? You mean hyperfixation on the same info like 3 times!

I have been working on an Admin experience, which doesn't really affect you guys, but whatever. -
So I have been building a separate admin system which I strapped into Supabase as a Service Role, just so I can manage users, check + Add upgrades and view stats a lot quicker. Keep in mind it's just me running the show. And I have a job, so I need to make life easier, so I can support people and focus on new features and fixes. Also, Hell no to just automating reach outs, and support system. THAT SHIT SUUUCKS. So I am manually doing check-ups on specific users based on the activity or lack thereof. I'm so worried that the platform might be confusing, thus driving people away...
Anyways, I threw together and semi-decent, last-minute, janky documentation section. Listen. I will make it better. I read docs, not make them. - https://webvisor.xyz/docs
Now I did this so when I send emails to users, I can link them to the docs and give them my email in case they need more help. But also, when I drop API access to the system, I don't have to worry too much.
Happy Thursday/Friday!
