I'm discussing every week with SaaS founders and I very often mention the different SaaS I'm a business angel in. And Lago is one which is the "easy to sell" because founders immediately relate to the pain points of setting up a billing system.
Billing should really be decoupled from payment providers for various reasons (billing system from PSP are often not customizable enough, easier to change PSPs etc...) and the open source model of Lago is a great choice for that.
