If you could start all over again, would you still work in product?
I often tell my friends who are not founders or product builders that there's so many easier ways to make money. You have to genuinely love the craft of building something from scratch, being vulnerable to put it out there, and accept critical feedback to make it better. Knowing what you know now, would you still work in product?
9 Months Post-Product Hunt Launch: The Grind Continues + A Few Pointers!
It's now been almost 9 months since we launched Stockle 2.0 on Product Hunt. Even though we've (two dev team) been bootstrapping the product for a few years, we feel like we're just now starting to see significant traction in our MRR and site visits. What's the main thing that's different now? I'd say it's simply that the product is much better compared to a year ago, no question about it. Here are a few key lessons from the journey so far: * Building a product isn't a sprint. While some products may gain a massive audience in just a few weeks, the reality is that this is often the exception, especially if you don t have an existing audience, 100% top notch product or tons of money for ads right from the get go. If you're confident there's a potential audience for your project but they just haven t found it yet, keep grinding. Focus on iterating and improving your product over time. * Shipping fast doesn t mean shipping garbage. It means iterating quickly to learn what your users truly want, without compromising on quality. * Utilize every social platform for marketing. Experiment with different platforms to find out which works best for your product. If you're in the early stages of building a user base, testing various platforms can actually give unexpected insights. Even smaller social platforms might prove to be pretty valuable. Thanks for reading! Also, Stockle is in the fintech category of the Golden Kitty Awards. Check out all the products and support your favorite! https://www.producthunt.com/gold...
Is it more important to let users pay or save users money?
PopShort.AI is a one-click tool for generating AI short videos, and it has faced thousands of users since its launch. We found that many users lost a lot of credits because they were not good at adjusting prompts. Although they were satisfied with the final results, and they seemed to be used to AI's card-drawing results, we still wanted to avoid this waste. So we made two optimizations:
1.Settings: After entering all prompts, click "Regenerate image" to save units.
2.Prompt: A new video prompt has been added to generate a video based on the image. What do you think? Everyone is welcome to experience and give feedback. Every character you write means a lot to us.
Track Product Hunt Launches
Hey PH family! Is there any way to track your Product Hunt Launch?
Guys, Help Me Prove There’s Room for a Truly Human AI
I ve poured my heart into creating an AI that actually feels like your friend. Not some soulless assistant. No offense, Siri (or maybe some offense, she s kinda behind). This is StarCy, my personal attempt to make AI as interactive and genuine as you d see in the best sci-fi. She can: - She Detect your mood through voice to better shape the outputs
- She has internet access so she can scrape any information
- Unlike Siri, StarCy is a Llm so better to give you information And guess what? I m not charging a dime. I've put a lot of time building the product-heck perfecting it to end, building the team, and now I ask you guys to do one part in this - SIGN UP SO I KNOW PEOPLE WANT IT!
it's your turn.
Stop focusing on selling, and start...
No one wakes up thinking: "I need to buy [product]." They wake up thinking: "I need to fix [problem]." What does this mean for you? If you want to market your product Stop focusing on selling, and start focusing on helping. If you sell tech, talk about how it makes life easier, not the technical details. If you sell skincare, talk about how it boosts confidence, not just what s in the bottle. If you offer services, focus on the results, not the steps to get there. It s a small but important shift. People don t really buy products. They buy what those products can do for them. How they ll feel, look, or live better.
