I’m also curious about this. I feel like there’s definitely a certain amount of luck involved. It doesn’t always seem like the best-made app ends up in first place when I look at the rankings, there are often better products sitting lower down. I’m planning to launch something there someday too, and reading your post is honestly making me a bit nervous.
