When I launch a new app, I m thinking of starting with a soft launch on Product Hunt before going all-in. I want to focus on the right audience and get strong traction on day one. Would love any advice my app has solid potential.
Hey everyone! We re launching VibrantSnap updates today and celebrating the New Year with an exclusive 20% launch discount.
Before launch, we d love your thoughts on a feature we re considering next: AI voice-over.
The idea: Instead of recording a voice-over separately, you d speak naturally while recording your screen and VibrantSnap would automatically reformulate and generate a clean, polished AI voice-over from your original speech.
Proposed flow: 1 You record as usual and talk naturally 2 AI cleans up phrasing + tone 3 Final video gets a clear, professional voice-over
Sometimes I have a problem to have a look at my past milestones or things I have achieved so far. When I think about it, even creating my first product was a success for me. I ve always been a bit shy and afraid to show what I was working on, or I just didn t know how to present it properly, so it took me a really long time.
My first product was an online workout program with a payment gateway, and the monthly price was ridiculously low. But I managed to monetise it and had my first customers. I was probably around 20 at the time.
What was your first product?
What would you do differently to maintain it and make it successful?
But the real costs often hide in the background- compute burn, idle tokens, redundant calls, or that temporary caching fix that quietly eats your budget.
On launch day, you only get one shot to capture attention. Your landing page is where curiosity turns into clicks and clicks into sign-ups. If it s unclear, slow, or uninspiring, even the best product will slip through the cracks.
A great landing page on Product Hunt should:
Grab attention with a crystal-clear value proposition in the first few seconds.
Show social proof or credibility to build trust fast.
I am attempting to observe what you use for coding. I have come across many tools on Product Hunt + Web, but I am fairly certain I have missed quite a bit. I divided them into "traditional" and "specialised".
