I built the backend and data pipelines the old fashioned way, using my brain, but decided to try Claude out for the front-end where I'm weaker, and boy o' boy did he steal my little heart, we're BFFs now. I can't live without you buddy 🍻

The xAI Team deserves a particular shout out. Not only for affordable tokens and good models, but something vastly more important than that. There is a lot of dark content or "inappropriate" content in old papers, but this is our history, and this data sits on taxpayer funded government websites. Other LLM providers at best, literally would have banned me for some of the content I processed, and at worst would have subtly chosen to re-word history. xAI is an absolute rock star for saying no to censorship and thought policing and I'm so glad someone had the cajones to make it!

Everything I needed, all in one place. Postgres, Opensearch, GPUs, Airflow, Lambda, Fargate, S3, CloudWatch etc... CDK is beautiful and I love it
