There are a lot of brand names out there. It’s impossible to know who owns them, or who your dollars are supporting when you buy from them.
Many big brands are owned by the same few companies. For example, Procter & Gamble owns Pantene, Tide, Pampers, Crest, Downy, Head & Shoulders, and this is a pattern you see in every industry.

The links are also underlined either red, yellow or green based on the sustainability rating of the brand's parent company, measuring carbon footprint and labor standards.

I made Paper Trail to solve that. It colours brands on your screen either red, yellow or green depending on the ESG rating of the company, with more info available if you hover. There are pros and cons with this approach, but I like that it adds a comparable way to see brands at a first glance.
