I love the design and overall approach of the Timestripe planner and could see myself using it, but due to the lack of true end-to-end encryption it sadly isn't an option for me.

Any plans to implement an eraser tool that just erases the line/shape that get crossed by the eraser stroke in addition to clearing the entire screen? Furthermore: Are there plans to display the pressed keys on screen, as well?

I don't get the negativity here. This has potential to grow into a successor of the long seemingly abandoned Pushbullet. I currently still use Pushbullet to send links from my iOS devices to Chrome to be able to act on them later, when I am back at the desk. This is a scenario where neither Airdrop, nor Handoff work. Yet, I am very unhappy with Pushbullet. I personally do not need my links on...

With a Mac app and a way to quickly capture new tasks with a syntax to add tags or assign it to products this will become the better Things!

Love it and can highly recommend it. It helps me to keep an eye on what can be considered "your second rent". However there seems to be a bug in the most recent version. The actual spending of the current month is the sum of all amounts, ignoring that some payments are recurring on a yearly basis and not due this month. This used to work flawlessly in the last version.

The smart filters idea sounds amazing! It would be innovative if the content aware filter, would also recognize what is shown on images someone posts. Let's say I follow someone, who regularly posts about a hobby of theirs, which I have zero connection with. With currently available Twitter clients there is no way of filtering those posts out. In addition it would be great, if the client scans...

It's like the Model Y had a baby with the robo-dog from the Black Mirror episode Metalhead ... a very big baby. From a manufacturing engineering point of view getting all those straight seams of sheet metal at the edges to line up perfectly with a unified gap gauge is a challenging task. You can not hide high tolerances with those straight lines. Especially the ones at the acute angles where...

Still mad that Microsoft did not follow up on their "Courier" concept from 2008. Now, 11 years later, delivering just the rough hardware is not enough. The software with pen support and element based drag and drop between the screens was an essential part of that concept.

@miso_antonic So this is only for creating mock-ups and prototyping? No way to export what was built (even so just partially) to avoid rebuilding everything in code? I'm asking because of your experience with PaintCode.

@lucian101 Hey, how is it different from Hocus Focus? Does it have a feature for groups or to switch quickly between modes?

@roel_kramer How is the secure connection between the browser and the phone app realized? I assume the Chrome extension is gathering the data (contact names, phone numbers, images) and then providing a link via the shown QR code. The phone app then downloads an (hopefully encrypted?) bundle and parses the information comparing it to the phone's local contacts?

Great Design! I have been doing this using Shortcuts. I take notes in Bear, while reading and once done, I push the notes to Day One, as some sort of archive. Seeing the context of my journal entries helps me to remind me when and where I read the book.

Amazing and simple idea! This feels so obvious and intuitive it should have been an OS feature.
