As cool as this idea is, in the description it points out "** This app does not change wallpapers automatically." which is the kicker of why this app is going to cause too much friction. I'm actually VERY surprised to see this wasn't just built on Android first which DOES allow the wallpapers to be automatically changed/set by apps. The limitation of that not being a thing on iOS really kills...

This is awesome, my main feedback would be that instead of pulling all of Giphy in, curate gifs that would work well with the app. A ton of gifs (usually ones where the face is not at a straight angle) just don't work. It would be a better UX for users to at least pick from gifs that have been more "battle tested" and usually turn out better. Maybe add another section to the left "trending"...

It bothers me more than it should that it's called Vincent, and no one actually named Vincent works on the project. Hahaha Jokes aside, congrats on the launch! Looks great!

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't get it? If I want to help journalists out and give them info in the "requests" section of the site, why should I PAY your company? I just want to help them out for free. Why would I pay your service to give them info/quotes?

I LOVE this! But, I am offended you didn't add Chicago! :P hahah We have an epic skyline! How do you add Nashville/Austin/Seattle, but not Chicago! haha That's offensive. Our skyline is iconic! :) Instant purchase once you add Chicago! ;)

@m_krzywonos , this is great! I love Sidenote already, just started using it today, and already purchased a license. I have an awesome suggestion that would make it even more powerful, and useful. Esp while you build out the iCloud sync part. Right now, in the preferences you can do "Data" and then "Open Data Folder" to see the info. It would be INCREDIBLE if you could change that location. @giphyeng I saw there was iOS. Is there plans for a React Native specific sdk? Or would you have to just use the iOS one with RN?

I want to try it, but honestly the no trial is a dealbreaker for me, personally. For something like this, I really need to be able to try it to see how it feels before purchase. Pros: - Looks nice - Good landing page Cons: - Subscription model (would prefer 1 time payment license) - No demo/trial

I don't think this type of product should be a subscription model, personally. I could understand a 1 time fee, but I don't think a subscription model makes sense here. And regardless of either, you should really offer a free X day trial to allow users to see how it works before purchase. I'm personally not a fan of products that don't give you a hands on demo or trial.

This is a no-brainer upgrade for me. PixelSnap 1 has been amazing (using it for over a year now), and this just adds even more features. Pros: PixelSnap2 adds a ton of quality of life updates that I didn't even realize PixelSnap was missing. Love the innovation, and added features! Cons: As others have mentioned, an integration with Droplr would be amazing, as I use that for all my screenshot...

Overall, really cool. Def worth expanding this further! I wish I could see the code of the leaderboards though, to see how they got such low scores. Pros: - Really fun challenges - Love the concept of leaderboards - Easy signup Cons: - To get low characters, can do "hacks" that you'd never want to do like not having an ending "/style" tag, or abusing shorthand/whitespace

I'm confused. Can you not see the code that the leaders submitted? Or am I missing it somewhere in the UX?

Love this idea/product! I think it just needs a lot more options. Would love for it to support objects, arrays, etc. of data, so you could get more complex structures to test. From what I can tell, it seems to only support very basic structures with no depth.

This is a workaround that frankly, I think won't actually work that well in practice. Users are not going to read the details of having to type some code into the page that loads, they are going to quickly bounce when they hit it and are confused. The UX is extremely complex. I think the product would need to add analytics to make this more transparent. So users could see how many people are...
