Hi guys! My name is Christian and I made BrackIt. A little bit about me, I went to school for audio engineering and I love music. I spent a few years working in studios, working at music schools, and playing in bands. After Covid hit, that kind of slowed down, and I found myself making music in my bedroom and just having fun. Fast forward a few years and my cousin and I had an idea about starting a sports league. After two years, I'm proud to say we've built a successful league with a ton of participants from our community and it's been quite a journey to get to where we're at currently.
One thing that always frustrated us was building schedules. There's a ton of scheduling websites out there that create tournaments in a few clicks and that's great, but I had a lot of factors I had to take into consideration when creating schedules.
Right now we have scenarios covering things like giving hard feedback, managing up, and pushing back on scope creep, and more. But I'm building out the next set and I'd rather build what people actually need than guess.
So: what's the conversation you keep putting off?
What's the one you replayed in your head after it went sideways?
