Hey new here :) but confused
Hey guys I'm a coder, developer and a marketing manager of my product Docmate. I'm a bit confused as it's still in it's beta phase. So, anyone can suggest me that is it a suitable option to launch it here on Product hunt? Also i still don't have a website yet so how's that possible to launch it.
Looking to all the possible suggestions
Hey PH! I'm Kerem, first time founder.
Hi PH, I m Kerem.
I m 19 and currently a junior at Purdue University, studying mechanical engineering. I m also working on a project called MoMoney, an all-in-one platform to help people learn how to trade and invest through hands-on practice.
Hi Hunters! New here β whatβs the first thing I should explore?
Just joined PH! Would love to know what you recommend I check out first here.
Hi Product Hunt community!
I m Maggie, founder of PinGo. We re building an app for real life experiences spontaneous, local, in person meetups that turn online connections into shared moments.

Introducing Ambassadors: For Makers, By Makers
When I first launched on Product Hunt, I had no idea what to expect. I wasn t sure anyone would notice our little startup, and honestly, I felt intimidated. Everyone seemed so established, and I didn t know where I fit in.
But then something incredible happened. A kind comment from @aaronoleary. Encouragement from the PH community. Support from the Product Hunt team when we ran into issues. A hunt from @benln. A thoughtful reply from @rajiv_ayyangar himself.
That first launch became Product of the Day.
We were later nominated for Product of the Year.
In 2023, I was named Community Member of the Year.
And now in 2025, I ve been invited to serve as a Product Hunt Ambassador!
How Product of the Day/Week/Month are chosen
Ben from the @Product Hunt community team here!
I was chatting with a Maker recently, and they were a bit unclear on how Product of the Day/Week were chosen, and honestly, I needed a bit of clarity too
Which is more important: making a great product or doing effective marketing?
Hello, Product Hunt!
I vote for "marketing is more important!"
Recently, building has become really easy with the help of AI agents and tools like Cursor(thx Ai). I think the time and money needed to create a good product have significantly decreased thanks to various SaaS programs.
However, I still don t have any references to introduce to you ( ). I feel like I ve neglected marketing, which is more important than making the product. (Please tell me this is the real reason...) Especially for indie makers like me, marketing is the hardest part (I wish someone could do it for me! ).
Making a good product and promoting it are both important, and it s a pointless debate.
Still, making vs. marketing? What do you all think?
And if there are any cost-free ways for indie marketers or beginner marketers to try out, could you let me know?

Questions about PH Forum Delays
Hey PH community!
I'm a newbie @mattt_lim (about a month old) and it feels like Product Hunt is playing hard to get with me
Here's what I'm experiencing:
My posts only appear publicly about 12 hours after I write them
My comments show up days later
Today I got a notification for a comment someone left on my post 5 days ago! Each piece of feedback is precious, and I felt bad not being able to respond immediately
π¨ Landing Page Roast: 48 Hours Only π¨
A few of us at Product Hunt are putting on our most brutally honest (but helpful!) hats and roasting landing pages for the next two days. Want in? Drop your link below, and we ll give you real, no-BS feedback on:
Clarity Does your message make sense or sound like corporate soup?
Calls to Action Do we feel compelled to click, or just leave?
Design & UX Smooth experience or rage quit territory?
Anything else Tell us what you want feedback on.
What are your favorite "fun" apps?
Yesterday @fmerian recommended Googly Eyes from @Sindre Sorhus, which I immediately downloaded! After enjoying the eyes following my cursor around for the day, that got me thinking - what other fun, goofy apps do you all have for your Mac, Chrome, or other devices that don't necessarily serve a purpose other than to bring joy and break the monotony? @Scroll Buddy is another one that comes to mind that I have saved in a collection.
We see productivity apps, AI-based software, open-source products, etc. all the time, but what about your saved products someone made after their 9-5 or on a weekend just to have fun and test their skills?
Are AI comments a (good) future for social media?
Today I read this message:
Instagram has just added the ability to write comments with AI.
A similar option LinkedIn has (it offers pre-written recommended comments like "Congratulations")
How to attract the next generation of Makers?
As many of you are likely aware, Product Hunt has always been a place for builders, founders, and tech enthusiasts to discover and share what s new. But as the startup landscape evolves, so does the next generation of Makers.
I d love to hear your thoughts - how can we make Product Hunt more appealing to first-time founders, students, and emerging Makers? Are there specific challenges they face that we have the chance to address?
Stricter Discussions (Forums) on the Product Hunt β Bad or Good?
A few days ago I saw some posts here about:
the number of discussions is decreasing,
sometimes they are approved later,
that there is "other community growth" I don't know what was meant by that and I'm just guessing.

Best, quick features to set up?
Hi! I m Ben, and I manage community support here at Product Hunt. We recently signed a new contract with @Intercom that has loads of new features, almost to the point that it s overwhelming
We had tried Fin in the past before the recent update (Fin 2.0?), and I ve been working on updating our help articles to make Fin work better whenever I have time. While Fin is a priority, I m also curious:
What features have others first implemented that were most impactful to your work? It could be data-wise or a reduction in volume! Anything making your team s work easier, with ~ideally~ minimal effort
What s been the best way for you to get everything set up? Navigating the Intercom Community, working with their team directly, reviewing help articles yourself, or something else?
Thanks in advance for any advice!!

Hi Product Hunters!
I'm here today not to launch a product, but in a way for something much more interesting: to talk about eu/acc
