Ever accidentally revealed sensitive info during a demo? It happens to the best of us.
Our Redaction Feature lets you instantly blur or hide confidential content without re-recording. In seconds, you can protect customer data, internal notes, or pricing details across all your demos.
I m relatively new to the community and excited to be here! I've been working closely with the Recall team for some time, but I officially joined as a co-founder in October 2024. Before that, the team had a great Product Hunt launch, and this time, I m playing a much more active role in preparing for our next one so I m spending some time ramping up. I was an early hire at Uber (2015) and later joined CloudKitchens in its early days. Now, at Recall, I m truly having the time of my life! Looking forward to connecting with and learning from this community.
I am about to cross 1yr streak tomorrow and am excited about this milestone. Please share your thoughts about any plans or interesting things to take care of.
Remember the days of massive PDF user manuals? I've spent the last few years in B2B SaaS, and if there's one thing that keeps me up at night, it's how we're still stuck in the stone age of product documentation. Static screenshots, endless bullet points, and that dreaded "Page 404" when you need help the most. Here's what I've learned about the evolution of product docs:
2000s: "Here's a 200-page PDF. Good luck!"
2010s: "Check out our knowledge base with screenshots!"
2020s: "Watch this 20-minute video tutorial..."
2024: "Here's an interactive guide - try it yourself!" The truth? Your users don't want to read. They don't even want to watch. They want to DO. That's why we're seeing a massive shift from passive to interactive documentation. Think about it - when was the last time you thoroughly read a manual vs just clicking around trying to figure things out? Modern tools are finally catching up to how humans actually learn: Contextual guidance > Static instructions Interactive demos > Long videos Learn-by-doing > Reading manuals Bite-sized workflows > Information overload The best part? Creating interactive documentation doesn't require a video team or technical writers anymore. The tools are getting smarter, more automated, and actually fun to use. What's your take? Are you still using traditional docs or have you moved to interactive guides? P.S. I drive growth for an Interactive demo tool - Layerpath ; do checkout if you find this read interesting.
A new category of products are making it more accessible for your customers to get accustomed to your product and its features even before they actually signup the product. Layerpath is one of them and we also got an integration with ProductHunt to add an interactive demo of your product during a Product Hunt launch. But I see that this space is still pretty nascent and not many builders are making the best use of Interactive demo tools that can actually 2X their sales, marketing, customer education and customer success activities for the product. Do let me know your thoughts about interactive demo tools, do you find them useful?
Exciting news - Layerpath demos can now be embedded directly in Product Hunt launches! Show your product in action when it matters most. Quick Setup: Create your demo in Layerpath Select Layerpath during PH submission Embed and launch! Why It Matters: 3x more engagement than static images Let hunters try your product instantly Stand out in the Product Hunt feed Need help? Drop a reply we at Layerpath are here to support your launch.
Every Product Hunter and maker dreams of a great response to their launch. Featured products naturally attract more attention, right? But what if your product isn t featured? How can you still make your launch a success and achieve remarkable results?
