Hi everyone, Andrew here from MicroAcquire! Startup acquisition marketplace! MicroAcquire helps startups find buyers. Simple as that. We ll help you start conversations that lead to an acquisition in just 30 days for free. When my company Bizness Apps was acquired in 2018 by a PE firm, it was a bittersweet moment. On the one hand, I d successfully bootstrapped my company to $10m/ARR+ and a life-changing acquisition. On the other, I d sold something that took years of blood, sweat, and tears to build. Do I have any regrets? Far from it. I'm here to answer questions about building your own business, bootstrapping startups, marketing, branding, sales, hiring, startup ideas, acquisitions, and anything else related to startups. 2.5 years ago I decided to quit the rat race and I left my career in big tech to go work for myself, on my own terms. Initially, I was going to focus all my attention on building a SaaS, but I quickly realized I didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket. Fast forward to today, I make and sell educational info products, do some contracting (working quarter-time at Gumroad), run a SaaS business, and at the end of this month, I also plan to get into selling physical products.I made $550K+ in revenue since I started working for myself, with over $400K coming from info products. Ask me anything!
The first 1,000 is always the hardest as they say. I've seen a million and one articles all giving different advice but since makers have the first hand experience I decided to ask what are your tips?
There's so much out there on HOW to launch here on PH, but not so much of a discussion on whether it's worth the effort. After our launch where we took #1 product of the day, I sat down to run an analysis on whether it was worth it or not. Put all our findings here:
