Building VibeEdit🎶

About

Hello Product Hunt Community! I'm Avhijit, a software engineer by profession, who is now switching to material sciences and business development. My day job is being the founder of a sustainability tech startup called HydroPlas Tech where we are up-cycling plastic waste into carbon nano-materials like Graphene. From time-to-time I also dabble my feet into app development whenever I get some crazy idea. Right now I'm building VibeEdit, which is an app that uses on-device AI to generate background music effects for videos. My aim is to reduce the environmental impact associated with AI technology while also democratizing access to such tech to people living even in the remotest of regions where internet connectivity could be an issue.

What new job position rise do you see in upcoming years?

LinkedIn officially shared the job titles that started appearing more often, and with the rise of AI, the market is restructuring.

The actual top 10 roles that have seen the biggest rise in listings (in the U.S.) are:

  1. AI engineers Engineers developing and implementing AI models that perform complex tasks

  2. AI consultants and strategists - Helping organisations plan and implement AI technologies to improve operations

  3. New home sales specialists Which sounds like a rebranding or real estate agent

  4. Data annotators Labelling and reviewing data for AI projects

  5. AI/ML researchers Designing new AI models and systems

  6. Healthcare reimbursement specialists Ensuring healthcare providers are getting correct and timely payments

  7. Strategic advisors and independent consultants Which seems like a pretty broad-ranging segment

  8. Advertising sales specialists You re reading a marketing blog, I assume you know this one

  9. Founders Not sure this can be listed as a job title in itself, but LinkedIn s keen to highlight how people are shifting to their own businesses

  10. Sales executives

2026 and your goals. Let's try to set them for Q1.

Since I haven't been able to meet my work goals very well in the last few quarters, I now plan to approach them more systematically and not push myself too hard on work goals, as that ultimately led to problems that made my plan less sustainable.

So here is my structure and list:

Share your TOP 3 learnings for this year

365 days is more than enough time to get burned, mess things up, and (most importantly) learn some hard lessons.

My biggest wake-up call this year was neglecting my health until it completely derailed my business I had to turn down collabs, miss conferences, meetups, and a ton of opportunities.
