We launched TrafficScout today, our Reddit growth AI Agents and the post flatlined the moment it went live. Zero upvotes. No visibility. No traction. It was like watching a plane take off with no fuel.
I knew Product Hunt was competitive, but I didn t expect to get buried that fast. It felt like our post never even reached the runway. I m curious how many others have experienced this with an early-stage launch.
A few things I m wondering:
Is this normal for new builders?
Does PH still surface new products organically anymore, or is community momentum everything?
What did you change on your second launch that actually moved the needle?

We just wrapped the Orbit Awards for AI Dictation and now we re moving to the next category: AI Automation.
This one is for the tools that actually do work for you clearing chores, running workflows in the background, or quietly taking over a chunk of your week without turning into another dashboard you have to babysit.
This launch introduces a redesigned AI resume engine built specifically for data & analytics roles. We rewrote our templates, retrained our prompt logic for technical hiring signals, and rebuilt job matching for analytics workflows. Jobsolv now functions as a specialized resume + job discovery system for analysts seeking high-paying remote and hybrid roles.
PublishRelay automatically syncs new WordPress posts to Medium while preserving formatting and setting the canonical URL back to your site for SEO protection. Unlike manual reposting or brittle social schedulers, it runs quietly in the background as true infrastructure for content distribution.
Hey PH! I m Atticus, and my co founder Nick is an iOS builder who s spent an unreasonable amount of time getting App Store screenshots approved. Between Figma templates, 3D frames, safe areas, and exact pixel requirements, we kept losing hours to screenshot busywork. Every release, the same story: tweak, re export, get a rejection, tweak again.
People started asking us for our internal templates. We realized the real win wasn t another file. It was a workflow anyone could use, even without a designer.
Create flawless App Store screenshots in seconds with App Screenshot Kit — the fast, automated tool that turns your raw screens into polished, pixel-perfect designs effortlessly.
We are currently building an automated task management app on Bubble.io. The platform is quite comprehensive, however as expected there are some limitations when it compared to native applications. I experienced that these limitations are easily resolvable by embedding some code inside, and no-code development definitely fastens the app development process. What do you think about no-code app development platforms? Have you used one before? Let's meet in the comments!
Given all the recent changes on Twitter like paid verification, daily restriction on the no. of tweets etc., and given threads is a replica of twitter - do you think it will replace Twitter?
I ran a similar experiment on Twitter a while ago and realized I should have asked the Product Hunt community. First, some context: I started Weekend Fund in 2017 while I was still the CEO at Product Hunt. Today, @vedika_jain and I write $100K to $300K checks into early-stage startups (most of which launched on Product Hunt at some point). Our background is in product and community building, but we have a network of over 400 LPs across every domain from data science to enterprise sales. More details at weekend.fund. If you're primary KPI (revenue, MAU, etc.) is growing 20%+ for 6+ months, drop me a note with details ryan@weekend.fund. If you have a deck, please share but we'd also love to chat with founders that aren't actively raising but could use our capital and help. :)
