How to stay consistent on Product Hunt?

Today I celebrate a big milestone. 365 days in a row active on Product Hunt. Honestly, quite a number given how many things happened in my life this year, it feels like I could write a book about it.

But consistency takes effort. Here are 3 things that helped me:

🧭 Lifeline Protocol - Your family’s digital emergency command center

Hey, I m Dalton! A jolly, pudgy feller from the Midwest who allegedly brings good luck and fortune due to recessive traits. The idea for Lifeline Protocol came to me one night when I realized that if the world fell apart tomorrow, I d have no plan and no chance of keeping my family safe. I figured I couldn t be the only one who d fail that test miserably. So my brain did what it does best and started building solutions instead of sleeping. Lifeline Protocol is my attempt to bridge that gap. It s a digital command center for families, built to keep everyone connected, organized, and ready for anything, even when the world gets messy. At its core are joinable protocols. Shared dashboards where families or groups can manage everything: people, pets, routes, inventory, tasks, and alerts. It s like a living, breathing plan that updates as life changes. There s also smart inventory tracking (with push notifications when supplies run low or expire), SOS alerts for emergency contacts, and an offline AI guide that helps organize plans, generate custom checklists, and even translate survival guides when there s no signal. I m building this solo, no big team or backing, not even much family support (ironic, since I m doing it for them). The toughest part was admitting I don t yet have the skills to code the whole thing myself. The best part has been getting this far anyway. Turning an idea into something real enough to show the world that Dalton doesn't just bang rocks together and giggle. I m not a survival expert. I just want my daughter, and everyone s families, to have a real shot if things ever go sideways. If you ve ever thought, Why doesn t something like this already exist? Same here. That s why I m making it.

Worklog

Hello team,

recently I started to write a worklog. I.e. Whatever i work on, i was just putting there on a daily basis.

Eventually writing self-reflection became extremaly easy because I had everything in one place at the end of H. Then it became a good habit in general - I became better organized, i was planning ahead, had better 1:1s with manager etc.

So to keep it short, i have started a pet project for that. It s not released yet and i want to conduct some initial feedback.

🚀 Help Shape an AI Self-Care & Productivity App – 3-Minute Survey

Hey Makers!

I m building an AI-powered self-care & productivity app that helps people stay on track with their goals through personalized daily tasks, adaptive coaching, and progress check-ins.

Before going too far, I want to validate the idea and make sure it solves real problems.

I put together a quick 3-minute survey to gather honest feedback from potential users:

If code is easier to generate, what roles become the real bottleneck now?

Being an engineer myself, I see that many people are outputting more code than ever. Some of it being generated vs. written, the volume of code being outputted has definitely risen.
There seems to be a shift from "is this something we can build?" to "should we build this and ship it?"
For people who have been recruiting or looking to recruit recently, what roles are you hiring for?

  1. Role title (I've seen a rise in PM's and Designers personally)

  2. What exactly can they do that AI can't (yet)

  3. Specific signal that you look for when hiring

Are you moving headcount from one type of role to another?
Would be interested to hear from other growing teams!

From PDFs to invoices to images: 30+ free tools on one AI-powered platform

I ve been working on something to solve a common problem: managing documents and media usually means juggling multiple websites or paying for subscriptions.

That s why I built Free Document Maker Tools

a dedicated AI-powered platform with 30+ free tools in one place:

An AI image tool that works like Google, not ChatGPT

Hey Product Hunt!

I'm launching ArtArray today - it's an AI image generator that works differently.

Instead of writing prompts, you search presets and tap "Try Sample." That's it.

Why we built this:

🚀 Propulse launching - Train your mind, unlock your potential

Hi everyone,

I ve been an amateur athlete for over 20 years, always competing. Like many, I ve spent countless hours training physically but rarely worked on my mental game.

Yet, it s often the mental side that makes the real difference: managing stress, building confidence, staying focused.

That s what led me to create ProPulse, an app for amateur athletes to make mental training accessible to all.

I thought I was good at spreadsheets… until they started running my life!

Somewhere along the way, I realized half my day was disappearing into tabs, formulas, and copy-paste gymnastics. It wasn t even the work part that drained me, it was all the tiny frictions: fixing a broken cell, hunting through endless rows, or repeating the same setup over and over. Honestly, it felt like the spreadsheets were in charge, not me.

Out of frustration, I built something small that grew into Xslar.com

Hello ! I'm Asma an Architect turned to tech person 🙋‍♀️

After 4 years post graduating architecture school, I joined a tech start up that builds different tools that I'm very passionated about. I started as the CEO's assistant, then I took on various tasks as COO, project manager, product owner.. In a day, I can jump from accounting to payroll to UX to copywriting and so on...

What I love most is learning how every piece of the puzzle fits together and turning ideas into something real (kind of like in architecture).

I discovered that the tech world is more creative than what I had imagined. Excited to be here, meet other makers, and get inspired by everyone's journey :)
Anyone coming from architecture or other fields unrelated to the tech world ? Anyone else having a similar "Swiss army knife" kind of job ? Would love to know more about your experiences !!

🔥 1000-day streak – special edition: How to last on Product Hunt long-term?

I have been here for so long that visiting the Product Hunt page is like an automatic reflex after waking up. Just kidding.

Anyway, there are 10 hints on how to keep that streak going:
