Dev Tools: SaaS Subscription vs. One-Time License? (The "Fatigue" debate)

I'm launching OpenAdmin today, and I made a controversial choice: I'm selling the Source Code (Pay once, own forever) instead of making it a SaaS subscription.

As a developer, I have "Subscription Fatigue". I'm tired of paying $19/month for tools I only use occasionally.

I believe that for code generators and boilerplate tools, the "Own the Engine" model is fairer than renting the software.

What s your take?

OpenAdmin Engine - Generate self-healing admin panels in 2 hours for $0.05

Stop coding boilerplate. OpenAdmin is a local Python Agent that architects, codes, and self-heals complete HTML/JS Admin Panels. Unlike wrappers, it detects broken tags and fixes them automatically. No subscriptions. No black-box exe. You get the full Source Code to generate unlimited dashboards for ~$0.05/run using Deepseek. Includes forced mobile responsiveness and production-ready architecture.
