Trackabi.com is a good one. It's not that kind of "the next big thing" that solves a problem invented after the invention of the tool, but it's a good quality employee monitoring system that uses gamification to make dull time tracking fun. I confess I'm working on it. ;-)

Probably there is no ultimate solution that would suit any startup and probably you shouldn't expect a piece of advice that will save you 90% of your current expenses. Just analyze where the money goes: - Office expenses β try to find a cheaper workspace or go remote - Switch from expensive cloud hosting solutions like AWS to cheap (but still good) dedicated servers - Outsource your work abroad...

I prepare a list of things to do during a day/week/month. Then not completed vs. completed tasks is my productivity. I also use gut feeling a lot. Even when I run out of time to do something I planned, I may feel good if I see that I worked well, and there are some real results.

I like the idea though the UI needs to be a bit smoother. I also would be happy to be able to draw some arrows, etc. That's helpful when you're doing a review. Pros: Simple and fast. I like the idea. I'd use it Cons: There are some issues with the support of different languages. This may steal a lot of customers from you guys.
