This is Jemmy from oMoo team. We're launching oMoo - the music player with Haptic on Product Hunt now!
Music has been my passion since childhood, thanks to my granny who introduced me to it. Now, as a piano and guitar player, I love performing, but granny's worsening hearing loss made it hard for her to hear my music.
I've explored advanced technologies to restore granny's hearing, but none were effective. She smiled as I played, but she could no longer hear the melodies. Inspired by Apple's Haptic Engine, I build oMoo - a totally new music player, to offer a new way to experience music through hand, not just ear. I believe oMoo will bring the power and beauty of music to everyone, including people who are deaf or hard of hearing like my granny.
This US ban was supposed to be on Jan 19 2025 but it lasted only 24 hours then people could use it again because Trump's administration gave the ByteDance company some time to find any other solution.
ByteDance has until April 5th to decide whether to sell TikTok to a US entity or leave the US.

I would like to warn you in advance that I do not want to offend any culture or country with this post. It only demonstrates observations from my own experience.
6 months ago, I had a conversation with a friend and we got to the topic of money.
Every time I read a maker s story on Product Hunt, I feel inspired. The journey from an idea to a real product is both exhilarating and challenging but it all starts with that spark of inspiration.
Some discover a need from Reddit discussions. Some analyze search trends on SEMrush. Some just build what they couldn t find themselves.
I m the @Product Hunt CEO, I ve launched 7 times on PH, and helped countless friends prep their launches. The most common mistake I see is a confusing tagline. Launching on Product Hunt soon? Tell me your tagline and I ll fix it for you :)
I am at the stage when I want to formally move my business to a foreign country (for example, to take advantage of better tax conditions, fees, etc.). Which country offers the easiest way to start a business, ideally to set up everything electronically (without unnecessary bureaucracy, where they ask you to show up physically. It feels like a pain in Europe) The more information (and advantages), the better.
I thought I wanted to start a podcast with my friends, turns out I just wanted to use the format to stay in touch. I travel quite a bit so I have friends in many timezones. Some of us attempted to start a podcast by each recording an audio clips and stitching them together into an episode. We quickly realized we didn't want the discussions to be fully public, however, the format of communicating through these audio podcast-like messages was a game changer. This is what lead to the development of Roads Audio. So have you ever wanted to start a podcast? What was that experience like?

Hey everyone! I just realized I ve hit a 100-day streak on Product Hunt! It s been such a fun ride scrolling through launches, seeing all the cool stuff people are building, and learning so much along the way. Honestly, it s crazy how consistent I ve been because I m usually the type to forget after a week. But here we are at 100 days! I d love to hear: How do you stay consistent with your streaks or habits?
Any recent products you re loving that I should check out?
This community is awesome, and I m glad to be part of it. Here s to many more days of discovering cool things together!
One of the biggest mistakes I notice with products launching on Product Hunt is skipping the teaser page. Promoting your teaser page is one of the most important steps because it serves two main purposes. First, it informs your friends, network, and audience on social media about your upcoming launch, giving them a heads-up that you ll be launching on Product Hunt. Second, it helps you build an audience directly on the Product Hunt platform. This audience will receive a notification on launch day, encouraging them to support you a big advantage. For example, if you have 500 people who clicked on your teaser page, they ll receive a notification on launch day, which could result in at least 200-300 guaranteed upvotes on the day of the launch. That s why we re launching in less than two weeks, and we re actively promoting our teaser page right now. https://www.producthunt.com/prod... I highly advise anyone planning a launch to prioritize creating and promoting their teaser page.
I ve always found traditional lead research tools limiting. They stick to rigid filters like headcount, industry, or location, which don t always work when you have niche criteria. I found Telescope last year and it was amazing! Their today's launch inspired me to launch this post. :) Telescope with Smart Criteria is your very own lead research agent to search for leads using fully custom criteria and filter by anything you want, no matter how niche. Telescope makes Apollo, Sales Navigator, etc. look primitive. Check out the Telescope launch here! I d love to hear what tools or methods do you use for lead research? Are there other creative ways to get more targeted results? Let me know in the comments. :) P.S. I hunted Perplexity Assistant on PH today!
