I'm part of the GJ File Manager team. Two files can have the same name in different folders. Before sending instructions to someone else, check which location you actually mean.
In GJ File Manager on Mac, clicking the current folder path copies that directory location. For an individual file, open its context menu and choose Get Info to inspect the full path. Those answer different questions: where the folder is, and which item you selected.
I'm part of the GJ File Manager team. When organizing converted documents for a handoff, a new filename and a successful open are only the first checks. The recipient may need editable text, usable tables, or a particular layout, and those are different requirements.
Here is a small acceptance checklist you can use regardless of the converter:
1. Keep the source and converted output separately labelled. Work on a disposable copy of the output during testing.
2. Open that copy in the app the recipient will use. Check a text-heavy page, a table, and a page with images if the document contains them. Check the final page too; a convincing first page can hide missing material later.
I'm part of the GJ File Manager team. A folder full of similar screenshots creates two different tasks: finding the right image, and opening it to do actual work. A preview should help with the first without repeatedly interrupting the second.
A small setup experiment for GJ File Manager on Mac:
1. Start in a sample folder with supported images. Enable hover preview and pause over one file. Compare the content before double-clicking into its associated app.
2. Move through the folder at your normal pace. If previews appear while you are only crossing the file list, increase the hover delay. If that still feels distracting, turn hover preview off and use a deliberate Quick Look action when you need it.
