I built Meet Default Off because I kept getting embarrassed in online meetings. Like many developers, I join tons of calls, sometimes with coworkers, sometimes with clients, sometimes with people I don’t even know yet. And half the time, at the moment I join, I’m not ready to talk. Maybe I’m finishing a thought, maybe I’m eating, maybe I’m just not in “camera mode” yet. But Google Meet loves...

Totally feel you...early-stage is a constant trade-off between building and getting the word out. What worked for me: pick one marketing channel, treat it like a feature, and give it a sprint. Doesn’t have to be perfect, just ship it like you would product. Also: talk to users as early as possible (even before the product feels ready). They’ll shape both your roadmap and your messaging....

Love the idea especially for solo builders who don’t wanna deal with file handling overhead Couple quick q’s: • Can I theme the uploader to match my app’s UI? • Any plans for built-in virus scanning or file validation? Would be fun to test this out or even collab on the MVP!

I’d recommend starting simple (Notion or Ghost) and upgrade as you grow Notion + Super.so is perfect to start fast Ghost + Next.js are great SEO and easy for writers MDX + Contentlayer gives full control and performance My personal advice: Launch it minimal and focus on what matter now. You don't need to think about technical things now. What I do myself always: I don't think a lot about the...

👋 Hey Product Hunt! I used to bounce between apps, books, and hacks—constantly chasing the “perfect” productivity system. Most were over-complicated, disconnected, or just didn’t stick. So I built ProductivityTrack — a clean, Notion-based system designed for clarity, energy, and real results. It started as a personal toolkit… now it’s helping 1,000+ users each week. Our free templates, like the...

In my view, AI is a powerful evolution. It enhances productivity rather than replacing developers, which is great for me because it helps me get more done in a day. I can learn and build faster, and focus on higher level issues. Now I am using Ai and learn new tools to build my ideas faster and for me it is like plug and play! I agree that AI will make teams smaller and more efficient. But we...

Hey Victoria, As I understand, you plan to use Notion as a backend and integrate its API with your frontend. This can work, but it has limitations! I haven’t personally used it as a full CMS backend, but I work a lot with Notion databases. The main issue is that Notion API is slow and has a rate limit of 3 requests per second! meaning if you send multiple requests per page, you might hit that...
