And having a CTO or technical co-founder on the team is crucial for properly evaluating and optimizing a SaaS product post-acquisition. Don't skimp on the technical due diligence!

Definitely focus on speed, simplicity, and mobile-first. Nail the key user flows and test them rigorously pre-launch. Make signup/purchase clear and fast. Hype builds anticipation but the UX seals the deal.
