About

Founder of BillingHub — invoicing billed by the invoice, not by the month. You buy a pack of invoices and spend one when you actually send one. The one-time packs never renew. I build it solo: PHP, Stripe, and far more time on PDF layout than anyone would guess. Registered in Wyoming as Evax LLC, shipped July 2026. I'm here for the unglamorous parts of billing — per-line tax that has to add up to the cent, zero-decimal currencies, what happens when a payment webhook never arrives — and for pricing pages that say what they actually charge. Happy to trade notes with anyone shipping alone.

🖇️ Is it worth adding integrations to your product?

Some products connect with dozens of other tools. Others intentionally stay independent.

I ve been thinking about this trade-off...

Integrations can make workflows smoother and help a product fit into the tools people already use.

Google quietly dropped 2 of my indexed blog pages this week, no reason given

Two of my blog posts flipped from "Submitted and indexed" to "Crawled, currently not indexed" this week. No edits, no redirects, nothing changed on my end.

I went through everything GSC actually exposes: robots meta says index, follow, the canonical points to itself, HTTP status is 200. Technically clean by every check available. Google indexed them once, then quietly pulled them back out, with no error and no explanation anywhere in Search Console.

Backlinks without an ad budget, does it actually work, or is it a myth for bootstrapped founders?

Been submitting to the usual directories (AlternativeTo, StartupRanking, etc.) and just had a good discussion in another thread about how a lot of the paid "guaranteed top 3" directory badges are nofollow anyway so you clear their conditions and still get zero SEO value out of it.

No paid ads here, so backlinks have to come from somewhere real: guest posts, being mentioned in a roundup, someone linking to a tool because it was actually useful to them.
