Is interacting with AI characters becoming the norm for you? (Your POV)
Common Sense Media published a report on this topic, and it reminded me of how big a bubble I live in.
When Meta announced back in 2024/2025 that they wanted to create AI avatars to boost engagement, I was skeptic, but data speaks clearly young people enjoy AI interaction.
Which business podcast or TED Talk left you feeling inspired about entrepreneurship? + My list
I experience 2 types of inspiration:
Internal my drive to improve based on my results and aspirations for where I want to be.
External people around me, talks, success stories, etc.
How do you handle fear from public speaking when pitching the product or giving a presentation?
A few days ago, I asked several people for a video testimonial.
Many of them:
were shy about appearing on camera

YC alum offering free pitch deck feedback
I'm a 3x founder, YC alum, and early-stage investor. I was lucky to back Zapier, Clever, Omaze, and a few others at the seed stage.
This summer I'm spending time helping early-stage founders and learning from them. If you're raising or planning to raise, I'm happy to review your deck and offer honest feedback to help you sharpen the story from an investor's perspective.
In return, I'd love to ask you a few quick questions about your fundraising experience. What's working, what's frustrating, and how you're thinking about it. It helps me better understand how founders are raising today and where the process breaks down.
If you're up for it, feel free to reply here or message me privately. You can email me directly if you like mike.stachowiak@gmail.com
No catch. Just hoping it's helpful for both of us.
Does your company run a community on any platform?
No, at this time, I do not mean social media but something like an enclosed community for the core (top-tier customers).
On Friday, I had a call with a marketing manager at @Crisp and he mentioned this thing.
I know there are more companies that are trying to create more personal connections with paying clients and network among themselves. I love community management, wanna learn from the best and apply the best practices.
What was the very first project you vibecoded with AI?
On Product Hunt, I can see many people launching their products using "vibe-coding tools" like @Lovable , @bolt.new , or@Replit
I reckon many people who created something with them are usually developers who didn't have enough time for building a side idea before, but with AI, they could make it happen.
Which country(ies) are the worst for running a business?
Yesterday (and today), I read from some makers that in their particular country, it is not easy to run a business.
We can all agree that each country has its obstacles.
I review hundreds of products daily and try to demo as many as I can - what do you want to learn?
I'm a product nerd. I love demoing and testing out products and am blessed that I can do this as part of my work here at Product Hunt but I sometimes forget to share my thoughts and impressions from testing products with the community....and I want to change that!
What would you like to see if I were to start sharing some reviews, product comparisons, and first impressions of Products that are launched or discovered? What aren't you currently seeing in reviews!
Throw any ideas, ask me anything, this is ultimately for you all!
How successful were you when you used influencer marketing for promoting your business or product?
A few minutes ago, I read an overview of a report that more people take a source of news, not traditional outlets and media, but influencers. [I am attaching the screenshot from Reutersinstitute.]
TL;DR:
FB, YT, IG More attention is dedicated to news media/journalists
Do you know any impactful social responsible projects?
Many of us appreciate tools that save us time or money in our businesses. But there are also projects out there with a bigger mission (improving lives, supporting the planet, and helping those in need, to name a few).
Do you know of any inspiring projects that aim to make the world a better place?
Have you ever pivoted your business / idea? 💡
Tons of great products that we know and use everyday are the result of pivots. You know, sometimes the original idea just isn't working and you have to find a new niche and quick, other times you stumble on a use case that changes the whole game.
Have you ever pivoted? What's the story behind it? How successful was the pivot? I'd love to hear your stories, and potentially feature them in our newsletters!

What would you do better in your business if you were starting from scratch? [Share your learnings]
Not all of us begin from the same starting line. A lot of what we learn happens along the way, and often, it's the trivial thing that could have made a big difference earlier on.
Today, I want to ask a question that might help someone shift their perspective.
Struggling with finding the right narrative for my product
I want to ask for your help.
For over a year now I've been building TrueMe, early adopters love it (4.5/5 satisfaction score), have 4500 registered Beta Testers but I feel like I am still dancing around with a clear punchy definition of the product.
I am building a solution to loneliness. We can observe a trend how people are using Gen AI mostly for therapy and companionship but Replica AI/ Chat bot's/ Chat GPT are only increasing the loneliness in a long run. At TrueMe we are aiming to do it differently. There is only one solution to loneliness - human connection. Human connection is tricky tho, as first step towards building a stronger connection with others is building a stronger connection with oneself. This is why we gathering anonymised user data to have context of user behaviour to design educational programs to strengthen self trust, self understanding, increase self awareness and then algorithmically invite users to the online or in person events where they can connect with like-minded people.
Which 50 characters describtion resonates with you the most:
1. AI behavior-pattern coach that turns chronic loneliness into lasting relationships.
2. Agentic AI psychoeducational App.
3. TrueMe: Safe Space for Self Discovery and Connection.
4. Relational Fitness Trainer
5. TrueMe the behavior-pattern coach that grows self-trust and real-world connection
Thank you!
Hard Work Pays Off. Here’s the Startup We’re Featuring This Week!
At Unicorns Club, we highlight early-stage startups that show real momentum not just ideas, but teams putting in the work, building, and growing.
This week s spotlight goes to Buzzabout an AI-powered insights tool helping marketing agencies decode audience sentiment and pain points through social media.
We ve started rolling out new features to better showcase founders like these:
A redesigned homepage with curated collections
Hi, I'm Aleks and I would love to meeting fellow founders
There is a theory which says that in order to build a long lasting relationship the parties need to have a similar level of self awareness and similar level of generative drive. My life showed me that this is rather to be the case, and sometimes it's not easy to find them (this is also why I am building TrueMe). I though I will introduce myself and find out if there are any tech geeks who are also pondering on the source of life on earth and our reason of being on this planet.
Let me know!
Product update: new location variables for richer personalization
At Croct, we believe that great personalization starts with great context, and geolocation plays a key role in that.
That's why we've just rolled out a major upgrade to our location variables, making it more structured, detailed, and versatile for location-based segmentation and personalization.
Feeling stuck growing my social impact business
Hello everyone!
I'm trying to develop my social impact business, but feeling stuck right now.
The main idea behind it is to give individuals an opportunity to gradually build a tangible, positive environmental impact by joining forest restoration at scale, and to make it as easy and convenient as possible while addressing downsides of existing tree planting and voluntary carbon offset initiatives.
I've managed to get a small grant to formally register a company, and create a simple website and web application. I ve also already got a few municipalities interested in partnering, pledging the land for over 10 million trees, with the potential for much more! Also have a few subscribers to our planting plans across the EU and the US.
The problem is, I struggle greatly with getting enough people to contribute, to jumpstart our field operations.
I was thinking that I am doing everything by the book regarding initial outreach (posting in relevant social media groups, launching platforms, direct messaging and mailing), but just can t get much positive results, while competitors (on whom I improved to create my project) managed to get decent success even in the first year of operations. Although I don t know what budget and connections they ve had.
I don t know if I have such bad luck or what, but I have a tremendous problem when reaching out to people, organizations, or media. If anyone even bother to respond, then it is either just a statement that this is such an important and needed project (but it seems not so important for them to support it), and they wish me luck (I can t do anything with wishes), or if they even declare initial interest and support it ends with ghosting. Not to mention a few openly hostile encounters.
If everyone who declared their support went through with their promises, we d be already planting, and here I am, stuck in a chicken-and-egg situation, where people expect me to show completed projects to even consider contributing, while I need initial support to even start them.
I just don t know what to do to keep it going
Hunters who are visible and active on Product Hunt – Short List
I usually get a few messages from makers during the week asking if I could hunt them.
Short answer: I don't currently hunt (but maybe in the future)
