At 22, Alec founded Afforai and secured over half a million dollars in investments from top-tier firms such as Sputnik ATX VC, Plug and Play Ventures, Hatcher+ Fund, and angel investors. He then scaled the company to nearly a million dollars of revenue in its first year of business. Alec is building Afforai to help accelerate the world's research. At 18, he won a full-ride scholarship to attend university in the US. During that time, he developed a research software that got acquired by a California State-sponsored NGO, which analyze and visualize homeless statistics of 50 states to provided crucial insights for policy reports submitted directly to the US Congress.
